01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
At Third Eye, curry and naan are only part of the appeal: biryani is another reason to visit. One diner who took chicken biryani away described generous pieces of chicken and a boiled egg, with the spices coming through clearly. Another visitor was impressed by the depth of flavour in the biryani’s spices. Alongside chicken biryani, the menu lists vegetable, seafood and mutton versions, offering an alternative to the familiar pairing of curry and naan.
For a curry-focused meal, the lunch options are easy to navigate. Lunch is served from 11 to 15, with daily, vegetable, chicken and keema curries to choose from; spice levels range from mild to extra hot. Set A comes with 1 curry, naan or rice, salad and a drink. Set C lets you choose 2 curries, and there are also lunch sets with cheese naan. The options make it possible to settle in with one curry or compare two. Some sets, including B and C, list free refills of plain naan and rice. Cheese naan is available as a paid upgrade with some sets.
The naan has also made an impression on diners. One person who ordered a dinner set praised its toasted surface and the rich curry, and enjoyed the aroma of the cheese naan. Dinner options range from a basic set with curry, naan and salad to Set A, which includes chicken tikka and a drink, and a special set with 2 curries and tandoori chicken.
There is more to explore beyond curry, including momo, chow mein and a dal bhat set. One diner wrote about trying pani puri for the first time: crisp shells filled with vegetables, eaten with soup poured inside. Whether the meal centres on curry or includes small plates and noodles, the menu offers choices for different appetites.
